CHS Chair Placement Exams + Rehearsal Adjustments

This week will have the chair placement exams for wind players (flute, trumpet, etc). Students have signed up for a time. There will not be wind rehearsals this week due to the exams; however, percussion will still rehearse as normal. 

No Rehearsals During Finals Week
There will be no music rehearsals during the week of finals, winds nor percussion. However, winter guard will still rehearse as normal.

ABC Honor Band Auditions!
The ABC Honor Band auditions are this week, Tuesday and Wednesday depending on your instrument! I strongly encourage everybody to audition! See the attached flyer for detailed information about auditions, rehearsals, and the performance. Maestro Dustin Barr from CSU Fullerton will be leading the band. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to the wind band idiom! Don't miss your chance to play with the best of ABC music and represent Cerritos HS Music!

San Francisco Payment #2 - $135 - Due Tuesday 1/22
The invoice says Monday 1/21, but we have next Monday off (my mistake). The payment will be due the next day, Tuesday the 22nd.

Winter Guard - $150 - Due Monday 2/4
It's never too early to plan for the next installment due on Monday, February 4th. The team is working hard and gelling well. I'm excited to see their first performance!
